Chrome Optimal Week 42: Honda is Advertiser of the week; Ford and PharmEasy is Most Watched Ad and Amazon is Most Liked

Mumbai: Chrome Optimal from Chrome Data Analytics and Media conducts study on TV Commercials aired across India and charts the best Brand Campaigns every week by choosing the “Top Ads of the week” across the country.

The survey is being conducted based on data collected from 34000 panel homes across India. It analyses the effectiveness of the advertisements aired on television during every week and categorises it through three broad segments namely Most Aired Ads, Most Watched Ads and Most Liked Ads.

Most Aired Ads in week 42:

According to the Chrome Optimal data for the week 42 – 2018, Honda’s Corporate Anthem which has climbed to the first position from the 2nd place last week, is the most aired advertisement. Following the leader is the Santoor Sandal And Turmeric – Soap ads which has again moved from its last week’s place of the 4th place to the 2nd slot this week. Trivago and National Aids Control Organisation ads are the third and fourth most aired ads this week which are also the new entrants this week. The advertisements Ministry Of Health & Family Welfare, is yet another new entrant which has scored the 5th place in the chart of the most aired ads of the week.

Amazon , Flipkart and Dept Of Women & Child Development which were placed at the No.1, No.3 and No.5 slots as most aired ads have not scored in the top 5 most aired ads this week .

Most Watched Ads in week 42:

The survey also unveils the “most watched ads” in week 42, which shows that though the ads of Honda stood at No.1, the brand is placed as the 3rd most watched ads chart this week, following which SAMSUNG GALAXY A7 are the second most watched ads while it has not been placed at the top 5 list of the most aired ads this week. FORD NEW FORD ASPIRE stands at No.1 position, inspite of not being listed in the top 5 most aired advertisements.  Amazon. In has dropped to the 5th slot against being the leader of the category last week. Lifebuoy – Toilet Soap ranked the 4th slot as a new entrant in the chart.  Other advertisers like Flipkart, Santoor Sandal And Turmeric – Soap, RR Kabel Firex – Wire that were placed in the top 5 most watched ads list have not scored in the chart this week.

 

Most Liked Ads in Week 42:

On the other hand taking a closer view of the most liked ads category of the survey, new entrants rule the first 5 places as the most liked ads this week.Pharm Easy is the most liked ads by the viewers while the Mastercard and Dish TV dth happen to the 2nd and 3rd liked ads this week. However, Horlicks – Junior occupied the 4th slot in the list and Amazon Echo managed to take the 5th slot as the most liked ads chart this week.

Other players like Amazon, Flipkart, Hero Pleasure , Asian Paints and Vodafone Sakhi have not been ranked as the most liked ads this week, Amazon, Flipkart inspite of  being the most watched ads this week.
