Kochi: Radio Mango has expanded its reach in Kerala FM Radio space with the launch of its fifth station in Alappuzha on Monday 25th March 2019.
Radio Mango FM network broadcasts 24×7 entertainment, music and news. In Kochi, Thrissur, Kozhikode and Kannur the network operates on the frequency 91.9. However, in Alappuzha it will be operating in 92.7 FM frequency as per the mixed frequency policy implemented by the Govt during the Phase III expansion.
Radio Mango Alappuzha will be offering music and funny entertainment to its listeners in the district and its neighbourhoods. Signals of the station will be available in neighbouring areas of Kottayam, Changanassery, Ettumanoor, Pathanamthitta, Kozhencheri, Nilakkal, Thiruvalla, Karunagappaly and partially in Pala and Ranni.
As part of its marketing initiative, Radio Mango has launched a promo bus – 92.7 Express that gives away goodies to listeners across the Alappuza district. The bus will host various innovative game shows.
Radio Mango broadcast began at 7 AM on Monday with a message from Malayala Manorma Chief Editor Mammen Mathew.
Radio Mango has a standard program structure across Kerala with station wise programming. Local RJ’s lead most of the shows at every station. The content at each station produced keeping in mind the hyper-local flavors of particular regions. The music played on Radio Mango is selected through auditorium tests conducted at regular intervals.
