V-Guard's new TVC conveys the message that everyone, irrespective of their orientation or ideology, has the right to equality

MUMBAI: V-Guard Industries has kicked off the New Year with a television commercial that it said has gained over 11 million views on YouTube and over 7.7 million Views on Instagram reflecting its widespread resonance with audiences. This new ad conveys the message that everyone, irrespective of their orientation or ideology, has the right to equality.

It reflects a core belief at V-Guard that true equality is born from the purity of thought. In the TVC, the brand spaces V-Guard’s range of advanced water purifiers and efficiently creates a powerful analogy between the purity of water, which is a right for all Indians, and the purity of mind that promotes inclusivity.

With this new campaign, V-Guard is looking to demonstrate its commitment to creating a positive social impact while continuing to deliver reliable and innovative solutions for everyday living. This ad campaign that gives a social relevant messaging was conceptualized by V-Guard’s Integrated Agency, Ralph&Das.

Nandagopal Nair, Brand and Communication Head, V-Guard Industries, said, ‘At V-Guard, we believe in creating not just products but meaningful connections that resonate with the values of a progressive society. Our latest digital film is a heartfelt narrative that underscores the importance of embracing diversity and fostering equality in dignity and respect for all. It’s a story of empathy, understanding, and the transformative power of kindness—a reflection of our brand’s ethos of ‘Bringing home a better tomorrow.’ As we move ahead into the New Year, we hope this film inspires audiences to champion inclusivity and celebrate the beauty of humanity in all its forms.”

Anil Ralph Thomas, Director and Chief Creative Officer, Ralph&Das, who has written and directed the film said, “The idea of this film was not necessarily to endorse any orientation or life choices but to simply impress upon the fact that be it respect or equality, everybody has a right to it, despite their life choices or orientation. And to believe that or act upon it requires purity of thought. And V-Guard being a brand that believes that ‘Everybody deserves a better tomorrow’ is well placed to put out this film extolling the virtues of purity of thought & action. And link it, albeit, quite subtly through its water purifiers.”

Kaustav Das, COO Ralph&Das, opined, “This was an attempt to rise above the category conversation and reiterate the V-Guard Masterbrand’s promise “Bring home a better tomorrow” in the larger social context. For a better tomorrow, we first need a just and equitable society, devoid of biases”
