Bengaluru: bigbasket has strongly refuted recent media reports suggesting impending leadership changes at the company. Hari Menon, Co-Founder and CEO, categorically denied the speculation and reaffirmed the founding team’s long-term commitment to the business.
Addressing the rumours, Menon said that the founding team has no exit timelines and continues to remain deeply invested in driving the company’s growth journey. “We founders and our commitment to bigbasket remain unwavering as we continue to drive the company forward,” he stated.
Clarifying further, Menon emphasized that there have been no conversations with the Board regarding succession planning, and the current leadership structure remains unchanged. He also dismissed claims about the appointment of a new CEO. “There are no plans to hire a new CEO for bigbasket, and no formal search process has been initiated for such a role,” he added.
The company reiterated that its focus is firmly on business continuity, innovation, and growth. “We want to assure our customers, employees, partners, and well-wishers that bigbasket continues to be on track, and that our leadership team remains committed to delivering value to all stakeholders,” the company said in its official statement.
