Mumbai: ZEE5 has announced the digital premiere of the much-awaited Tamil film House Mates. Blending horror, fantasy, and comedy, the film is directed by T. Raja Vel and produced by Sivakarthikeyan and S. Vijayaprakash under the banner of SK Productions. Starring Darshan and Aarsha Chandini Baiju in lead roles, the film will begin streaming exclusively on ZEE5 from September 19, 2025.
The supporting cast includes Kaali Venkat, Vinodhini Vaidyanathan, Dheena, Abdool Lee, and Master Henrik, with music composed by Rajesh Murugesan, acclaimed for Premam and Neram.
The story revolves around Karthik (Darshan) and Anu (Aarsha Chandini Baiju), a newlywed couple who move into an apartment, only to encounter mysterious occurrences seemingly tied to another family in a different timeline. What starts as an ordinary domestic setup soon unravels into a supernatural puzzle, combining suspense, humour, fantasy, and emotional drama in unexpected ways.
