Mumbai: Paras Health has appointed Balkishan Sharma as Group Chief Human Resources Officer (Group CHRO) and Business Transformation Officer, reinforcing its focus on leadership strengthening, workforce transformation and cultural alignment across its network.
In his new role, Sharma will spearhead people strategy, workforce transformation and key business initiatives, with a mandate to foster a high-performance, values-driven culture across the organisation. The appointment aligns with Paras Health’s broader commitment to strengthening organisational capabilities while enhancing excellence in patient care.
Sharma brings over 22 years of experience in the healthcare sector, with expertise spanning HR strategy, workforce planning, employee engagement, organisational development and business transformation. Prior to this appointment, he served as EVP & Head – HR Operations (Pan India) at Max Healthcare Institute Ltd.. He has also held senior leadership roles at Fortis Healthcare Ltd., Paras Health and Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre, where he led initiatives in leadership development, HR digitisation and operational efficiency.
An MBA in Human Resources, Sharma has also completed an advanced Leadership Development Programme from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.
