Vi partners with Chennai Super Kings as Official Communications Partner for the next three seasons

Mumbai: Vodafone Idea, popularly known as Vi, has announced a three-season partnership with the Chennai Super Kings, becoming the official communications partner of the franchise. The association aims to strengthen Vi’s cultural connection with cricket fans while delivering enhanced fan experiences powered by robust connectivity.

As part of the partnership, the Vi logo will feature on the leading leg of the CSK uniform. The collaboration marks a strategic brand move for Vi to engage with millions of cricket enthusiasts and deepen its presence in one of India’s most passionately followed sports ecosystems.

Over the next three years, Vi will activate the partnership across digital platforms, in-stadium touchpoints and fan engagement initiatives. The collaboration will bring CSK supporters and cricket fans closer to the team through a range of experiences including on-ground activations, exclusive meet-and-greet opportunities, official signed merchandise and match tickets for Vi users.

Vi’s strong digital reach and youth connect align perfectly with our vision of building deeper engagement with fans and aspiring players alike. Together, we look forward to creating meaningful impact both on and off the field,” said KS Viswanathan, Managing Director, Chennai Super Kings.

At the core of the partnership is a shared commitment to developing grassroots cricket, with Vi also supporting the Super Kings Academy. The academy trains young players aged 6 to 23 years, including both boys and girls, offering structured coaching and opportunities to nurture emerging cricketing talent.
