Chennai: Hansa Entertainment has announced the appointment of Sujatha Narayanan as Chief Executive Officer, as it formally launches operations with a focus on multi-format content production across digital, OTT, television and theatrical platforms.
The newly incorporated entity builds on the legacy of Hansa Vision and aims to create original programming spanning short-running series (SRS), long-running series (LRS), OTT films, and theatrical features. The company will also foray into podcasts through ‘Hansa Spotlight’ and develop vertical drama content under ‘Hansa Originals’.
Founded by Sruti Swamy and Siddharth Swamy, the company is positioned to cater to evolving audience preferences driven by mobile-first consumption, shorter formats and multi-platform viewing habits. Initial content production will span six Indian languages—Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Bengali and Kannada.

Unlike, R K Swamy Hansa which is in the business of providing Integrated Marketing Services, Hansa Entertainment will focus on creating OTT films, Series and Vertical dramas.”
