Bengaluru: Zee Kannada is set to bolster its weekend programming with the launch of its new non-fiction show Jodi No.1, premiering on April 4 at 9 PM. The show brings together celebrity couples in a format that celebrates love, compatibility, and relationships through engaging and entertaining challenges.
Designed as a family entertainer, Jodi No.1 will feature a mix of both established and new celebrity couples, offering audiences a blend of emotion, humour, and relatable moments. The format focuses on testing couples through a variety of tasks that highlight their understanding, coordination, and emotional connection.
The show will be judged by a diverse panel including veteran actress and politician Malavika Avinash, popular on-screen duo Rajesh Nataranga and Chaya Singh, along with Sandalwood actor Nenapirali Prem. The judges are expected to bring a mix of expertise, insight, and entertainment value, offering feedback and perspectives on relationships alongside performance evaluations.
Hosting duties will be led by the popular duo Kuri Pratap and Shwetha Changappa, whose chemistry and comic timing are set to enhance the show’s entertainment quotient.
The show features a diverse lineup of celebrity couples, including Rudra Master–Niriksha, Rajani–Arun Gowda, Dhanraj–Prajna, Balu Belagundi–Malashree, Nayana Nagaraj–Suhas, Mimicry Gopi–Usharani, Jaggappa–Sushmita, Kote Prabhakar–Malathi, Geetha Bharathi Bhat–Rajaram Bhat, and Abhilash–Apoorva.
With a mix of dance performances, skits, compatibility games, and surprise challenges, Jodi No.1 aims to deliver a well-rounded entertainment experience. The show will also include rapid-fire rounds and situational tasks designed to showcase how well couples understand and support each other.
