Mumbai: Reliance Vibrant Advertising Pvt. Ltd has appointed Nilesh Bagaria as Assistant Vice President – Planning & Strategy, further strengthening its strategic planning capabilities within the Reliance Group’s expanding marketing ecosystem. Bagaria announced his new role via a LinkedIn post.
He brings over 14 years of experience across media planning, buying, strategic marketing, and market research. Over the course of his career, he has developed strong expertise in building media strategies and leading planning functions across agency environments.
Prior to this move, Bagaria spent nearly 14 years with Madison Media, where he handled key planning mandates and contributed to long-term client strategy. Earlier, he was associated with GroupM’s Maxus division in Mumbai for over a year and also worked with MPG India for more than four years, gaining extensive exposure to integrated media operations.
Reliance Vibrant Advertising is understood to be the in-house advertising and media arm of Reliance Industries, supporting the group’s diverse portfolio spanning retail, telecom, energy, and consumer businesses. The unit plays a critical role in media planning, buying, campaign execution, and data-driven marketing strategies across Reliance’s brands and platforms.
The appointment comes at a time when large conglomerates are increasingly investing in in-house agency models to drive efficiency, leverage first-party data, and enable integrated communication across business verticals. Bagaria’s experience in strategic planning and media operations is expected to contribute to strengthening Vibrant’s capabilities in delivering unified and performance-led marketing solutions.
