Mumbai: HDB Financial Services Limited has announced the appointment Natarajan Srinivasan as Independent Director and Non-Executive Chairman of the Board at a meeting of its Board of Directors held today. The appointment comes as the company continues to expand operations and advance its long-term growth strategy.
Natarajan Srinivasan brings over four decades of experience spanning finance, strategy, and business transformation. A qualified Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary, he has held several senior leadership roles within the Murugappa Group.
Among his notable leadership assignments, Srinivasan served as Executive Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Co. Ltd, where he played a key role in scaling the financial services business into a market leader. He also served as Managing Director and CEO of CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd, leading the company through a significant turnaround and strategic transformation.
