Hyderabad, May 16, 2026: Tempest Advertising successfully concluded CATATHON, its 21 day employee health and wellness challenge, with a grand award ceremony held on May 15, 2026, at the Sailing Annexe in Hyderabad.
The event was graced by Sri Jayesh Ranjan, I.A.S., Special Chief Secretary to the Government of Telangana, overseeing the Hyderabad Metropolitan Area & Urban Development Department and the Sports Department, who attended as the Chief Guest.
The ceremony also welcomed Dr. Kishore Gopinathan, Ph.D., Vice Chancellor of Young India Physical Education and Sports University of Telangana, as the Guest of Honour. He appreciated Tempest Advertising’s efforts in promoting health, fitness, and active living within the workplace.
A Wellness Challenge Inspired by World Health Day
Launched on May 7 in observance of World Health Day, CATATHON brought together employees from Tempest Advertising’s branches in Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Pune.
Participants were divided into three teams:
- Tempest Wolfs
- Tempest Panthers
- Tempest Jolly Walkers
The challenge encouraged employees to improve their daily physical activity through a competitive step count initiative conducted over three weeks.
At the end of the challenge:
- Tempest Wolfs emerged as the winning team
- Rekha Oswal
- Prasad B Pawar
- Ananta Kundojwar
were recognised as the top three individual champions.
Awards were also presented for:
- Highest steps achieved in a single day
- Top three performers within each team
- Overall team performance
Promoting a Healthier Workplace Culture
Speaking at the event, Chief Guest Sri Jayesh Ranjan, I.A.S., said:
“Initiatives like CATATHON are exactly what the modern workplace needs. They remind us that our greatest productivity tool is our own health.”
Guest of Honour Dr. Kishore Gopinathan praised Tempest Advertising for building a workplace culture that prioritises employee wellness and encourages active lifestyles.

Several participants shared that the challenge positively improved their physical health, mental well being, focus, and daily routine. Many also pledged to continue walking regularly even after the completion of the event.
