Mumbai: Times Now has unveiled a refreshed programming slate across its weekday and primetime bands, introducing a series of new editorial formats, explainers, interviews, and newsroom-led discussions aimed at delivering sharper journalism and engaging younger audiences.
The revamped line-up features a mix of long-format interviews, editorial huddles, fast-paced explainers, and agenda-setting discussions, anchored by some of the network’s senior editorial leaders. The move is designed to strengthen the channel’s positioning around intelligent debate, analytical storytelling, and real-time news analysis.
Among the flagship additions is Frankly Speaking with Zakka Jacob, a weekend interview show hosted by Zakka Jacob, Managing Editor, Times Now. Airing Saturdays at 10 PM and Sundays at 10 AM and 10 PM, the show will feature conversations with prominent personalities from politics, business, and public life.
Known for his incisive interviewing style, Jacob’s show aims to focus on accountability and direct conversations around key national issues and decisions.
Another key addition is Editors Unplugged, a free-flowing editorial discussion format featuring Zakka Jacob alongside senior editorial voices including Pranesh Roy, Madhavdas Gopalakrishnan, Shreya Dhoundial, and Meghna Deka. Scheduled for weekends at 7:30 PM, the show will offer candid newsroom conversations and contextual analysis around the week’s biggest stories.
Strengthening its primetime line-up, the channel has also launched Times Now Briefing Room, anchored by Madhavdas Gopalakrishnan. Airing weekdays at 10 PM, the show combines visual explainers with focused debates and geopolitical analysis designed to simplify complex news developments for viewers.
At 6:30 PM on weekdays, Decoding Now, hosted by Meghna Deka, will focus on breaking down fast-moving developments across politics, geopolitics, and current affairs through fact-based explainers and contextual reporting.
In the afternoon band, the network has introduced Times Now: Setting The Agenda, a noon bulletin anchored by Meghna Deka focusing on investigative reporting and accountability journalism. This will be followed by Afternoon Dispatch at 1 PM, anchored by Shreya Dhoundial, delivering key updates across politics, business, and global affairs.
Further expanding its newsroom-led storytelling formats, the channel has launched Times Now Newzify, hosted by Swati Joshi. The weekday 2 PM show adopts a walk-and-talk newsroom format combining graphics, explainers, live visuals, and expert perspectives to simplify major news developments.
The refreshed programming strategy reflects Times Now’s focus on delivering clarity, credibility, and contextual journalism in an increasingly fragmented and cluttered information ecosystem, while catering to audiences seeking deeper analysis beyond headline-driven coverage.
