Chennai: Zee Tamil’s flagship singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs Season 5 concluded with a spectacular grand finale at Nehru Stadium on June 7, celebrating the musical talent of young singers from across Tamil Nadu. Emerging as the winner of the season, Abisheka took home the coveted trophy along with a dream house worth ₹1 crore.
The live finale, which was telecast exclusively on Zee Tamil, marked the culmination of months of intense competition and showcased exceptional performances from the season’s top finalists — Vishnu Varadhan, Akshith Nirupam, Varja, Thanvi, Abishka and Sumanraj. The evening featured a rich blend of classical, folk and contemporary music, highlighting the versatility and talent of the young contestants.
Hosted by Archana Chandhoke and Vijay, the show was judged by renowned playback singers Srinivas, S.P. Charan, Shwetha Mohan and Saindhavi, whose mentorship played a crucial role in shaping the contestants’ musical journeys throughout the season.
In addition to Abisheka’s grand prize, Vishnu Varadhan was named the first runner-up and received a cash prize of ₹10 lakh. Thanvi secured the second runner-up position and was awarded gold worth ₹3 lakh. She was also honoured with the special title of Golden Voice of the Season, receiving an additional gold prize worth ₹5 lakh for her outstanding performances throughout the competition.
