Mumbai: Swiggy Instamart has elevated Dhanya Hemanth Raj to the position of Director – Marketing, marking another leadership milestone for the executive who has been part of the quick-commerce platform since 2023.
Raj shared the development through a LinkedIn post, expressing gratitude to the teams and leaders who supported her journey within the organization. She officially assumed the new role in April 2026 after previously serving as General Manager – Marketing.
Reflecting on the promotion, Raj described the achievement as an important career milestone and acknowledged the contributions of colleagues and mentors who played a role in her growth at the company.
Since joining Swiggy Instamart in September 2023, Raj has been involved in shaping marketing initiatives for the platform during a period of intense competition and rapid expansion in India’s quick-commerce sector. Her elevation comes as brands in the category continue to invest heavily in customer acquisition, retention, and brand differentiation.
Before joining Swiggy Instamart, Raj held marketing roles at consumer-focused companies including TenderCuts and Licious, where she gained experience in building brands and driving customer engagement in high-growth categories.
The promotion highlights Swiggy Instamart’s focus on strengthening its leadership team from within as it continues to scale operations and expand its presence across markets. In her new role, Raj is expected to play a larger part in steering the platform’s marketing strategy, brand development, and consumer outreach efforts.
