Mumbai: Danish healthcare company Coloplast has appointed Anuj Agarwal as Head of Marketing for its India operations, reinforcing its leadership team as it seeks to strengthen its presence in the country’s healthcare and medical devices market.
Agarwal joins the company after spending nearly two years with Transasia Bio-Medicals. The appointment also marks a return to Coloplast, where he previously spent close to six years in various capacities.
With more than two decades of experience, Agarwal brings expertise across marketing, strategic planning, and business development. His professional background spans pharmaceuticals, medical device implants, and capital equipment, providing him with broad exposure to the healthcare sector.
Over the course of his career, he has worked on driving market expansion, commercial strategy, and brand development across diverse healthcare categories.
Coloplast, headquartered in Denmark, is a global provider of intimate healthcare products and services. The company operates across areas including ostomy care, continence care, wound and skin care, and urology, serving patients in multiple markets worldwide.
Agarwal’s appointment comes as healthcare and medical technology companies continue to focus on strengthening leadership capabilities to capitalize on growing demand for specialized medical solutions in India.
In his new role, he is expected to lead marketing strategy and brand-building initiatives for Coloplast’s India business while supporting the company’s growth ambitions in the market.
