Mumbai: Quick commerce platform Zepto has promoted Roohi Raj to the position of Vice President, marking a new milestone in her leadership journey at the company.
Raj announced the promotion through a LinkedIn post, where she expressed gratitude for the opportunities, trust, and professional relationships that have shaped her growth at Zepto. She also shared her enthusiasm about contributing to the company’s next phase of growth.
Prior to the elevation, Raj served as Senior Director, a role she assumed in April 2024 when she joined the company. Over the past two years, she has been part of Zepto’s leadership team during a period of rapid expansion and intensifying competition in India’s quick-commerce market.
Before joining Zepto, Raj held leadership positions at Meesho, where she worked as Associate Director and Senior Manager. Her broader career includes stints at Swiggy and professional services firm PwC, giving her experience across e-commerce, food delivery, consumer technology, and consulting.
The promotion reflects Zepto’s continued focus on strengthening its leadership bench as it scales operations and expands its presence across markets. Internal leadership development has emerged as a key priority for fast-growing consumer technology companies navigating increasingly competitive business environments.
With experience spanning strategy, operations, and business leadership, Raj is expected to play a larger role in driving Zepto’s growth agenda and organizational development in her new capacity as Vice President.
