Mumbai: Dangal TV has expanded its fiction programming slate with the launch of Kaisi Teri Dillagi, a new drama that premiered on 6 July 2026 and airs Monday to Saturday at 10:00 PM. Set against the backdrop of Agra, the show weaves a story of love, destiny, relationships and life-changing decisions.
The series follows the intertwined lives of Kajri, Akash and Siddharth, whose journeys are shaped by unexpected circumstances and emotional dilemmas.
Manpreet Kaur essays the role of Kajri, a spirited young woman who entertains tourists near the Taj Mahal through puppet shows while secretly resorting to pickpocketing to survive. Vishwas Saraf plays Akash, a self-made man whose quiet resilience and mysterious past influence the course of Kajri’s life. Asif Khan stars as Siddharth, a compassionate young man from a wealthy family whose arrival adds fresh emotional complexity to the narrative.
A key turning point in the story sees Akash giving Kajri a new identity as Kajal. While Kajri falls in love with Akash, her dreams take an unexpected turn when he arranges her marriage to his best friend, Siddharth, setting the stage for an emotional conflict between love, friendship and destiny.

Speaking about the launch, Akshat Singhal, Director, Enterr10 Television Network, said, “At Dangal TV, we always look for stories that connect with families across the country. Kaisi Teri Dillagi is a story about love, relationships and the unexpected turns that change people’s lives forever. It has relatable characters, strong emotions and moments that audiences will identify with. We are excited to bring this new show to our viewers and hope they enjoy being part of Kajri’s journey.”
Sharing her experience of playing Kajri, Manpreet Kaur said, “Kajri is one of the most special characters I have played. She is strong, fearless and full of life, but at the same time carries a lot of pain within her. What I love most about her is that she never gives up, no matter what life throws at her. I hope audiences connect with her journey as much as I have while portraying her. I’m thankful to Dangal TV for trusting me with this role.”
Talking about his character, Vishwas Saraf said, “Akash doesn’t express much, but a lot is going on within him. He believes in doing the right thing and stands by the people he cares about. As the story progresses, viewers will discover different sides of his personality. That’s what made this role so interesting for me.”
Sharing his thoughts, Asif Khan added, “Siddharth is someone who lives life wholeheartedly. He values relationships, wears his heart on his sleeve and always stands by the people he loves. Playing him has been a wonderful experience, and I’m grateful to Dangal TV for giving me this opportunity.”
With Kaisi Teri Dillagi, Dangal TV aims to strengthen its fiction portfolio by offering viewers a family-oriented drama centred on emotional storytelling, relatable characters and unexpected twists, as regional entertainment channels continue to invest in original scripted programming.
