Abhinav Kaushik has joined VML as Managing Partner – West & Growth Partner. He previously worked for FCB Group India as President.
Updating the new position on his LinkedIn handle, Kaushik shared, “Any new position comes in with a whole lot of challenges and responsibilities, and ideally when you get into the trenches and understand the business by deep-diving in totality, only then you have the right to tell the world about what’s the new in your work life and what are you really embarking upon. Prior to FCB Group India, Kaushik was with Dentsu as Executive Vice President & Head of Office at Taproot Dentsu between 2013 and 2022. Before this, he worked for J Walter Thompson as VP and Client Services Director from 2006 to 2013. Previous to this, he associated with M&C Saatchi London as Account Director between 2002 and 2006.
Before joining M&C Saatchi London, Kaushik served for Contract Advertising as Account Manager / Account Executive from 2001 to 2002. He started his career at GE Capital –SBI Cards as Area Sales Manager and Management Trainee.
With 24 years of experience, Kaushik has expertise in sales, account management, brand management, strategic planning, understanding consumer behavior, brand positioning, developing high-visibility integrated marketing communication, creating full-funnel creative, digital & performance solutions, new business development, leading teams with P&L responsibility and stewarding diverse gamut of brands to positions of strength.
Kaushik also worked for multiple categories across FMCG, Beverages & Liquor, Telecom, Consumer Electronics, Mobile Devices, IT/Software, Automotive, Fast Foods (QSR), Education, Paints, Lubricants, Finance, Fashion, Aviation, Footwear, Retail, News Media, Health & Nutrition, Tobacco, Web Portals, Home Décor etc.
