New Delhi: Agilitas, an end-to-end sportswear company, has appointed Samarpita Samaddar as its Communications Lead. In her new role, Samaddar will oversee brand and corporate communications, along with PR-led campaigns, to strengthen Agilitas’ positioning in the sportswear industry.
Prior to joining Agilitas, Samaddar was the Communications Director for India and Southeast Asia at Bumble Inc., where she played a pivotal role in shaping the women-first dating app’s communications strategies and led multiple award-winning campaigns. She also served as the company’s spokesperson in India during her nearly four-year tenure.
With 14 years of experience across consumer technology, entertainment, the arts, lifestyle, and sports, Samaddar has built aspirational and authentic brands through strategic storytelling. She previously contributed to the success of leading Indian film studios such as Zee Studios and Eros International, managing over 40 film campaigns across genres, languages, and budgets. Her portfolio includes Bajirao Mastani, Newton, Aligarh, Dhadak, Ki & Ka, and Kesari, among others.
Her appointment comes as Agilitas continues its rapid expansion in the sportswear market, aiming to redefine performance and innovation in the industry.
