Mumbai: Amazon has announced the return of its flagship shopping event, Amazon Prime Day, in India this July 2026. Marking its tenth edition in the country, the event will offer Prime members access to deals, savings, new product launches, and entertainment benefits across a wide range of categories.
Prime members can expect offers spanning electronics, kitchen essentials, beauty, fashion, groceries, and everyday needs, alongside access to trending products and exclusive launches. The company aims to enhance value for members through a mix of savings and convenience-led offerings.
Globally, Prime Day 2026 will take place in June across markets including Austria, Canada, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United States, among others. Meanwhile, customers in India, along with Australia, Brazil, and Japan, will be able to shop the deals in July.
Highlighting its service improvements, Amazon noted that in 2025 it achieved its fastest delivery speeds for Prime members in India, with over 55 crore products delivered the same or next day—marking a 40% year-on-year increase. Additionally, Prime members reportedly saved more than twice the cost of an annual membership on average during the year.
In India, Prime membership benefits include access to services such as Amazon Prime Video and Amazon Music, along with shopping advantages like same-day and next-day delivery, and exclusive deals during Prime Day. Members can also earn cashback benefits through the Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card.
Amazon continues to offer multiple membership tiers in India, including the standard Prime plan, Prime Lite, and Prime Shopping Edition, catering to varying customer needs across shopping and entertainment
