New Delhi: In a strategic leadership move, Amazon has appointed Priyanka Khaneja Gandhi as the Head of Amazon India Ads Marketing. Gandhi will now spearhead marketing and creative solutions for Amazon’s advertising vertical in India, leveraging her extensive experience in media, branding, and digital commerce.
Gandhi shared the update on LinkedIn, saying, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of Amazon India Ads Marketing at Amazon!”
Her appointment marks a significant step for Amazon India Ads as it continues to deepen its engagement with advertisers and enhance brand storytelling through its platform.
Prior to joining Amazon, Gandhi had a distinguished career across both client-side and agency roles. She recently exited Colgate-Palmolive, where she served for 16 years in various leadership positions. Starting as Senior Manager in 2008, she rose to become Associate Director and Head of Integrated Marketing Communication and E-commerce Marketing, a role she held until October 2023.
Her journey before Colgate-Palmolive includes notable stints at Madison Communications, Carat (Dentsu Aegis Network), and Starcom (Publicis Groupe), where she built her foundational expertise in media planning, brand strategy, and integrated campaigns.
With over 25 years of experience in the media and marketing services industry, Gandhi brings a well-rounded perspective to Amazon at a time when digital advertising continues to evolve rapidly in India.
Her appointment is expected to further strengthen Amazon’s efforts in creating meaningful, data-driven advertising solutions for brands across the country.
