Mumbai: Amitabh Dewan has joined Policybazaar For Business (PBFB) as the head of its large corporate risk business. Dewan brings with him over two decades of experience in the General Insurance, risk engineering, and loss prevention domains. His primary responsibility will be to craft growth strategies and business expansion plans for PBFB, with a focus on strengthening its position in the corporate insurance market.
Dewan’s career spans several prestigious organizations, including Howden, Mahindra Insurance Brokers, WTW, and Aon, where he has gained substantial expertise in managing complex and large-scale risks across various industries such as pharma, FMCG, manufacturing, energy, renewable energy, and construction projects. He has worked extensively with global carriers and insurers across the US, Europe, Australia, and the MENA region, structuring multiple high-value deals and fulfilling capacity requirements in international markets.
