Share Share ShareShare

New Delhi: KiranaPro, India’s fully ONDC-integrated, AI-powered quick commerce platform, has onboarded Arjun Vaidya, Co-Founder of V3 Ventures, as a mentor and investor. With an undisclosed investment backing the company’s mission, Vaidya will work closely with KiranaPro’s leadership team to drive strategic D2C partnerships and fuel the brand’s expansion across the country.

Recognized for his success in building consumer-facing brands, Vaidya’s involvement marks a strategic milestone for KiranaPro. As the former CEO of Dr. Vaidya’s, he led the Ayurvedic products brand to reach over 2 million customers across 16,500 pin codes, scaling to 5,000 orders a day and launching more than 80 products during his tenure. His entrepreneurial acumen and insights into the D2C space will now be directed toward helping KiranaPro scale its AI-powered tech platform and extend its footprint to millions of Indian consumers.

Arjun’s contribution will go beyond capital. As a mentor, he will play a vital role in guiding product innovation, strengthening strategic partnerships, and accelerating KiranaPro’s national rollout.

Deepak Ravindran, Founder & CEO, KiranaPro, shared his enthusiasm about the development, “Arjun’s journey as a D2C pioneer and his deep understanding of India’s consumer landscape make him an invaluable addition to our leadership circle. His decision to back our vision is a shot in the arm for the entire team. Arjun’s mentorship will accelerate our efforts to build strategic brand partnerships and will help us scale KiranaPro into a nationwide movement for kirana empowerment.”

On joining the brand, Arjun Vaidya, Co-Founder, V3 Ventures, said, “KiranaPro is redefining how technology can uplift India’s most trusted retail format—the kirana store. Having built and scaled a D2C brand from the ground up, I understand the power of combining digital innovation with deep consumer trust. I’m excited to support KiranaPro’s mission to empower millions of small retailers while bringing modern commerce to every corner of India.”

Since its inception, KiranaPro has made rapid strides, onboarding over 30,000 kirana stores and processing close to 1,000 daily orders across 35 cities. With an ambitious vision of reaching 1 million kirana stores and nearly 100 million customers by the end of 2025, the platform is fast emerging as a force in India’s digital retail ecosystem.
