BARC Week 23: Sun TV retains the lead spot in the across genre category

BARC Week 18: Sun TV bags the first spot in the across Genre and pay platform categories

The Broadcasting Audience Research Council (BARC) released data for Week 23. In the across genre category, Sun TV maintained its first spot, with a weekly AMA of 3009.55 (’000). Star Plus, Star Utsav, Sony Sab, and Star Maa maintained their respective spots last week. Star Plus stood at second spot with a weekly AMA of 2949.14 (‘000) followed by Star Utsav, with 2557.07 (‘000)  weekly AMA. Sony Sab claimed the fourth spot with a weekly AMA of 2423(‘000), followed by Star Maa with 2357.63 (‘000)  weekly AMA.

Colors Rishtey came 6th with 1714.68 (‘000) weekly AMA followed by Colors 1590.6 (‘000) weekly AMA. Zee Telugu bagged the 8th spot with 1590.58 (‘000) weekly AMA, followed by Sony Pal with a weekly AMA of 1506.75 (‘000).

Dhinchaak bagged the tenth spot with 1471.92 (‘000) weekly AMA.

Hindi Speaking Market (HSM)

In the HSM, Star Plus bagged the first spot with a weekly AMA  of 2861.7 (‘000s)in the top five channels list in week 23. Star Utsav stood on the second spot with 2543.26 (000s) AMA, followed by Sony Sab with 2353.74 (000s) AMA. Colors Rishtey stood at the fourth spot with 1705.67 (000s) AMA, followed by Colors with 1567.76 (000s) AMA.

South

In the South market, Sun TV claimed the first spot with 3002.88 (000s) AMA. Star Maa took the second spot with 2301.04  (000s) AMA, followed by Zee Telugu with 1554.06  (000s) AMA.  STAR Vijay claimed the fourth spot with 1353.58  (000s) AMA, followed by ETV Telugu with 1300.63 (000s) AMA.
