Mumbai: Chrome Optimal for week 47, conducted across the country involving 34000 panel homes, has revealed that Bharatiya Janatha Party (BJP) hits a hat-trick by leading the most aired ads category chart, followed by its rival political party Congress that has climbed to the runner up position against its 4th place in week 46. Flipkart is a new entrant standing at the 3rd slot this week, while Santoor Sandal and Turmeric – Soap and Incredible India are seen taking a dip becoming the 4th and 5th most aired advertisements in week 47.
The survey provides interesting data on how effectively the advertisers have carried their campaign on TV and how the brands have been received by the viewers, against week 46 -2018. It is divided into three broad categories Most Aired Ads, Most Watched Ads and Most Liked Ads.
The survey also unveils the “most watched ads” in week 47, which shows that Swiggy that emerged as the most liked ads the previous week has also emerged as the most watched as this week, continuing to stay as the most liked ads this week too.
All Out – Ultra and Google Pay are the 2nd and 3rd most watched ads respectively, though they do not score in the most aired ads category. Santoor Sandal and Turmeric – Soap has moved to the 4th place, in proportion its ranking in the most aired category. Colgate Dental Cream stands becomes the 5th most watched ads in the list.
Further analysing the most liked ads category of the survey, Swiggy continues to be the most liked ad, while other 4 slots are occupied by the new entrants this week. Following the leader is the Vaseline – Intensive Care Lotion and Pears that emerge as the 2nd and 3rd most liked ads respectively. Joy Honey & Almonds – Body Lotion stands at the 4th slot while Mastercard managed to occupy the 5th position in week.
