Burger King India celebrates 500+ Restaurants milestone; expands beyond the Metros

MUMBAI: Burger King India, a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) chain has crossed the 500+ restaurant milestone nationwide.

Launched on 9 November 2014, currently Burger King India is present in 119 cities as it aims to continue to redefine the QSR landscape by blending global standards with local flavours. The restaurants feature what it says are state-of-the-art technological first designs where Self-Ordering Kiosks (SOK) and Table ordering help the reduce the ordering time. Table Service is enabled in all Burger King restaurants for an enhanced dining experience for the guests.

Burger King India has added over 60 new restaurants in the past year. With recent openings in Raipur, Thrissur, and other emerging cities, the brand is accelerating its footprint beyond metropolitan areas. The goal it says is to make world-class burgers more accessible than ever.

Burger King India esxplains that it has consistently adapted to Indian tastes by introducing locally inspired flavours, including the Chicken Tandoori, Chicken Makhani Burger, and Paneer Royale Burger. Burger King has always stood for Value Leadership and believes in giving good tasty menu for Indian wallet and palate. The brand has launchedcompetitively priced menu items in the industry, deals starting at Rs. 79 for 2 Crispy Veg Burgers and Rs. 99 for a 3in1 Crispy Veg meal consisting of Burger, Fries and Coke, and exclusive app offers reinforcing its commitment to delivering quality food at exceptional value.

With the Launch of BK Café in November 2021 and currently having 450+ cafes across the country, Burger King says that it is committed to serving superior coffee experience. With its in house blend which has 100% Arabica beans giving citrus, caramel and peanut notes, creating what the company says is a balanced taste of coffee. BK Café serves coffee experiences paired with food which ensure each cup of coffee is a “Sip To Remember”.

Highlights of the company’s strategy:

· 450+ restaurants now feature digital kiosks, reducing wait times by 50%.

· Marketing campaigns, including capturing real-time IPL moments. AI-powered campaigns like the Dhamakedaar Diwali campaign “BurgerKingSwaadKaPatakha”, which created highly personalized interactions and Ringing in the new year through the “Coffee Fortunes” campaign where using AI, BK Café’s let guests uncover their fortune for 2025 through coffee foam patterns, blending ancient tradition with modern technology for a fun and engaging experience.

· The Burger King app, with 1 million+ active users, offers exclusive offers and ordering.
