New Delhi: In a major move poised to reshape the fine jewelry landscape, Rupesh Jain, founder of Candere and a pioneer in India’s digital jewelry space, has launched Lucira, a modern lab-grown diamond (LGD) jewelry brand. Positioned for the conscious and design-forward consumer, Lucira is set to redefine luxury with a strong focus on sustainability, personalization, and emotional storytelling.

Known for building Candere into one of India’s most successful online jewelry platforms before its acquisition by Kalyan Jewellers, Jain now returns with a bold new vision—Lucira. The brand positions itself as the “Rings King,” celebrating proposals, weddings, anniversaries, and personal milestones through intentional design and ethical brilliance.

Lucira is inspired by the Latin word Lucent, meaning “to shine,” and aims to deliver fine jewelry that merges purity, brilliance, and modern values. By integrating AI-powered customization, certified lab-grown diamonds, and a digital-first approach, Lucira seeks to build deeper trust and intimacy in an industry often associated with traditionalism and opacity.

Launching at a pivotal time, Lucira enters a market rapidly shifting toward lab-grown diamonds, which are physically, chemically, and visually identical to mined diamonds—but offered at a significantly lower cost. Certified by leading institutions like IGI, GIA, SGL, and Hallmark, Lucira’s diamonds promise complete transparency and quality assurance. Each piece is handcrafted by skilled artisans combining traditional techniques with modern elegance.

Currently available online with nationwide delivery, Lucira plans to open flagship experience stores in major metros, followed by an aggressive omnichannel expansion across India and into international markets. The brand aims to become India’s first global lab-grown diamond luxury house.
