Chrome Optimal Wk 46 : BJP continues to top list of most aired Ad; Google Pay is most watched ad and Swiggy is most liked ad

Mumbai:  The study conducted on “Top Ads of the week” by Chrome Data Analytics and Media Optimal – India’s largest primary research and data analytics company  reveals interesting insights with the three broad categories like most aired ads, most watched ads and most liked ads.

The survey was conducted in 34000 panel homes, across the country, for the week 46 – 2018, analysing the effectiveness of the advertisements telecasted on television during the week 46 against week 45 – 2018.

According to the survey, The Bharatiya Janatha Party has managed to stay as the most aired advertisement both in week 46 and the previous week as well. Following the leader is the new entrant, Santoor Sandal and Turmeric  Soap’s ads. Incredible India has dropped to the 3rd slot this week against its runner up position in week 45. Yet another new entrant this week is another political party, Congress’ ads while Trivago has taken  two steps down standing as the 5th most aired advertisements in week 46.

The survey also unveils the “most watched ads” in week 46, which shows that though the ads of Google Pay emerged as the most watched ads, while all other 4 brands in the list happen to be new entrants this week. Santoor Sandal and Turmeric – Soap and Colgate Dental Cream stood at 2nd and 3rd most watched ads this week respectively. However, Dettol Toilet – Soaps occupied the 4th slot and All Out – Ultra becomes the 5th most watched ads in the list.

Further, Google Pay was the only advertiser that managed to take place in the top 5 most watched ads in week 46, while the other advertisers like Thugs Of Hindostan, Head & Shoulders Dandruff, Dove Cream Bathing Bar and Vaseline Intensive Care Lotion that was placed in the top 5 chart last week, did not score in week 46.

On the other hand taking a closer view of the most liked ads category of the survey, all the 5 places have been filled with the new entrants this week, with Swiggy’s ads emerging as the most liked ads, Mc Donalds and Dove Intense Repair follow the leader in the 2nd and 3rd slots respectively. The ads of Incredible India though dropped to the 3rd slot in the most aired category, becomes the 4th most liked ads this week. The new Bisleri Mineral Water ad managed to occupy the 5th position in week 46.
