Crypto firm CoinDCX has appointed Sridhar Govardhan as the Chief Information Security Officer to further strengthen its cyber security capabilities. Sridhar brings with him over two decades of rich experience and was most recently the VP and Head of Information Security at Flipkart. In his new role at CoinDCX, Sridhar will be instrumental in developing, expanding, and maintaining CoinDCX’s superior security technologies, which will give its customers a seamless and secure trading experience.
He will lead CoinDCX’s information security policies and governance procedures as well as drive an all-encompassing programme for data protection that will support development, research, and administrative information systems and technology. He will serve as the Information Security Liaisons’ leader and head the Information Security Advisory Committee, promoting information security throughout the ecosystem. He will also help build an effective Cyber Security Framework (NIST) for the organisation.
In his previous stints at Flipkart, Wipro and Infosys, Sridhar has been instrumental in leading organisational efforts in creating self-defensible networks that align with information security governance. He has been responsible for identifying and addressing potential risks and threats and alleviating them through business solutions. He brings his immense knowledge from the IT business to the future of the internet, establishing more confidence and trust within the larger crypto and web3 space.
