Croma and Posterscope cool the nation with ‘AC Ho Toh Croma Se Ho’ OOH blitz

Mumbai: Croma in collaboration with Posterscope—dentsu India’s OOH specialist agency—has rolled out a high-impact Out-of-Home (OOH) campaign titled ‘AC Ho Toh Croma Se Ho’. Spanning over 120 cities across India, the campaign aims to boost summer sales of air conditioners and coolers with a smart, contextual media strategy that blends traditional formats with immersive innovation.
Designed to drive visibility and top-of-mind awareness, the campaign employed a mix of large-format billboards and transit media. A key highlight was the unique ‘Frozen Chair’ activation inside Mumbai Metro coaches—where select seats were wrapped in ice-themed graphics, giving commuters the feel of a chilled environment and reinforcing Croma’s cooling proposition.

Further engaging consumers was a location-smart digital display in Mumbai with the message, ‘Your air specialist is just 5 mins away,’ converting a regular bus shelter into a conversion-driven touchpoint. These hyper-contextual placements aimed to spark curiosity, encourage store visits, and emphasize Croma’s accessibility.

Commenting on the campaign, Imtiyaz Vilatra, CEO, Posterscope India said, “With the summer season at its peak, this was the ideal moment for Croma to take ownership of the cooling category through a high-visibility campaign. Our strategy focused on impactful transit formats to engage people in their everyday moments and drive strong recall. The innovation in this campaign is a perfect example of how we transform functional messaging into experiential storytelling. It’s more than just an ad – it’s a brand experience.”
