DB Corp posts healthy 6.3% print ad revenue growth and 28% EBITDA margin for FY2026

Mumbai: DB Corp Limited (DBCL), India’s largest print media company and home to flagship newspapers Dainik Bhaskar, Divya Bhaskar, Divya Marathi, and Saurashtra Samachar, today announced its financial results for the Fourth Quarter and Full Year ended March 31, 2026 — reflecting strong and consistent progress across its core print, digital, and radio businesses.

DB Corp delivered a strong quarterly performance despite global geopolitical uncertainties. Total Advertising Revenue grew approximately 6% YoY to Rs. 4,067 million in Q4 FY2026, from Rs. 3,841 million in Q4 FY2025, driven by healthy demand across key sectors including Education, Real Estate, Healthcare, Automobile, and Government. Consolidated Total Revenue grew 4% YoY to Rs. 5,896 million, EBITDA grew 15.6% YoY to Rs. 1,176 million — with EBITDA margin expanding by 200 basis points — while Net Profit grew 18.8% YoY to Rs. 622 million.

For the full year FY2026, on a like-to-like basis excluding last year’s election impact, the Print Advertising Business delivered a healthy 6.3% YoY growth in revenue and 7.1% YoY growth in EBITDA. EBITDA margin expanded by approximately 66 basis points to a robust 28% in FY2026. Reported Consolidated Total Revenue came in at Rs. 24,408 million from Rs. 24,212 million in FY2025, while PAT stood at Rs. 3,320 million as against Rs. 3,710 million in FY2025 — impacted by the election-led high base of FY2025.

The company’s advertising revenue has grown at a robust CAGR of 13% over FY2022 to FY2025, while Consolidated PAT delivered an impressive CAGR of 38% during the same period — reflecting DB Corp’s sustained focus on operational efficiency and cost discipline.

Sudhir Agarwal, Managing Director, DB Corp Ltd., said, “Our performance for the year reflects strong and consistent progress, driven by healthy execution across our core businesses. Print continues to demonstrate resilience with sustained advertising demand and stable circulation, reinforcing our confidence in the medium’s relevance and strength in our key markets. At the same time, our digital platforms are scaling well, with improving engagement and a growing user base, further strengthening our integrated ‘phygital’ presence. Our continued focus on cost discipline and operational efficiency has supported stable margins, even as we invest in growth initiatives. Looking ahead, we remain confident about the outlook, supported by improving consumption trends and healthy advertiser sentiment across key sectors. We will continue to focus on strengthening our market position and leveraging opportunities to drive sustainable, long-term growth.”

Digital continues to be a key growth driver for DB Corp, with Monthly Active Users (MAUs) reaching approximately 20 million as of March 2026. Dainik Bhaskar retains its position as the #1 Hindi and Gujarati News App in India, reinforcing its leadership as a leading phygital Indian language media platform. The company’s loyal user base has grown almost 10x since 2020, reflecting the strength of its content strategy, technology investments, and hyperlocal coverage across markets.

The Dainik Bhaskar mobile app recorded 16.8 million monthly unique visitors as of March 2026 — a significant leap from 1.6 million in January 2020 — making it the only news app to have grown consistently over the last five years while maintaining its direct active user base.

MY FM, DB Corp’s radio business, has expanded its footprint with the launch of seven new stations, taking its presence to 37 cities across India. It is the fastest among peers to operationalise the highest number of stations from the latest auction round. The new stations in Daman, Gandhidham, Bhuj, Ratlam, Pali, Sri Ganganagar, and Alwar make MY FM the first and only private radio broadcaster in these markets.

DB Corp added four prestigious accolades to its portfolio during the year, including Silver at the Indian Marketing Awards 2025 for Customer Experience, Silver at the IAA Olive Crown Awards 2026 for Corporate Social Crusader of the Year, and the Golden Peacock Award in the CSR category. Two Dainik Bhaskar journalists — Avadhesh Akodia and Vijaypal Dudi — were also honoured with the Ramnath Goenka Awards for Excellence in Journalism 2026 for their courageous and impactful investigative reporting.
