Mumbai: Dharana Capital has announced an investment of INR 225 crore in Mygate, India’s residential community management technology platform, marking another strategic bet by the investment firm on category-leading technology businesses in the country.
The investment is aimed at supporting Mygate’s next phase of growth, with the company planning to expand its residential community footprint and strengthen its integrated technology platform.
Mygate currently serves more than 27,000 residential communities and 5.7 million homes, offering a full-stack technology solution for Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) and residents. Its platform supports multiple functions including gate and security management, finance and accounting, amenities management, internal communications, and community engagement.
In addition to operational tools for housing societies, Mygate has developed an integrated brand engagement and advertising layer, enabling brands to connect with residential communities at scale.

Mygate said the fresh capital will be used to deepen product capabilities, strengthen technology infrastructure, and scale operations as it looks to increase its reach to 10 million homes.
