Mumbai: In a proud moment for the Indian communications industry, four Indian public relations leaders have earned spots on the ‘100 Most Influential PR Professionals of 2025’, a global recognition curated by the Symbol Creative Awards. The prestigious list acknowledges professionals who have significantly influenced brand narratives, media engagement, and corporate reputation across industries.
Representing India on the list are:
- Vidya Dilip, Director of Public Relations, Dentsu Creative Public Relations
- Deepansh Agarwal, PR Director, Aim High Consulting
- Preeti Rawat, Associate Director of Public Relations, Grapes Worldwide
- Shivvangii Chaturvedi, Business Director, Video & Public Relations, Wife
Adding to the accolades, Deepansh Agarwal has also been featured in the broader ‘100 Most Influential People in Creative Communication for 2025’, a global list spanning top creative minds across marketing, PR, brand leadership, and experience marketing.
The Symbol Creative Awards powerlist is distinguished for its peer-driven selection process. This year’s honorees emerged from a pool of 1,113 nominations and 3,731 votes, contributed exclusively by industry professionals to ensure credibility and relevance. Professionals from major global networks such as Netflix, Ogilvy, Publicis, and McCANN also feature on the list.
Geographically, the United States topped the list with 25 professionals, followed by the United Kingdom (13) and Brazil (8). India’s growing presence is a testament to the country’s rapidly evolving PR landscape.
Nominations were accepted between February 10 and February 28, with voting taking place from February 18 to February 28. To maintain fairness, voters were limited to selecting up to 10 PR professionals, with final entries determined by total votes and nomination counts in the event of ties. The final list is presented in alphabetical order, focusing on influence rather than rank.
This international recognition comes as India’s PR industry continues to surge. According to the PRCAI SPRINT 2024-25 survey report, the Indian PR sector reached ₹2,500 crore in FY 2023, marking a 19% Y-O-Y growth—outpacing global averages. The report projects the industry will reach ₹4,570 crore by FY 2030.

Ovanes Ovanessian, Co-founder of the Symbol Creative Awards, stated, “PR is what keeps brands strong and trusted, making it an indispensable part of creative communication. The 100 Most Influential PR Professionals Powerlist celebrates the remarkable individuals who make that happen. We are particularly excited to see Indian professionals making their mark in the list this year. The vibrant Indian media landscape demands exceptional PR talent, and these professionals have demonstrated their ability to navigate both local nuances and global standards with remarkable expertise.”
As the industry grows in scope and sophistication, recognitions like these not only validate individual contributions but also spotlight India’s expanding footprint on the global communications stage. The Symbol Creative Awards continue to amplify the voices behind today’s most impactful campaigns—professionals who shape stories, shift perceptions, and define brand legacy.
