Goa: Day three of the biggest annual advertising grand festival hosted by The Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) in association with the Advertising Club successfully concluded in Goa today.
The party town became even more merrier with the advertising fraternity’s presence and festivity. The festival witnessed a gathering of big names in the industry shared memorable moments that would be cherished for years together.
After 2 days of scheduled leadership summits, seminars and discussion by the top management professions of different walks of life, like cricket, cinema, politics, spirituality, advertising and so on, the event witnessed the distribution of the third set of ABBY’s awards.
On day three of the Goafest, there were totally 1206 entries under 12 Categories of ABBYS awards against which 129 metals were given away to the winners. The medal tally includes 69 Bronze, 40 Silver and 19 Gold.
The industry’s most coveted title of “Creative Agency of the year” was bagged by The Social Street, which won 17 metals comprising of 3 gold, 7 Silver and Bronze each. Further, the campaigns like Untag for its client Rustik Travel, The Snake Guard for Prasadam Industries and A secret book launch for Upendra Namburi fetched them the gold metals.
FCBIndia group and Medulla WYP Network emerged as the first and second runner’s up while the former grabbed 3 Silver metals and 5 Bronze metals and the latter was presented 3 gold, a Silver and a pair of Bronze metals. Denstu Webchutney, Famous Innovations are also a few among the many, who won metals in various other categories. Early Man Film was the only winner of the Grand Prix award.
Recognising the best of creative talents and stellar performances the creative agencies were felicitated in a grand manner.
