Bengaluru: Google Cloud has strengthened its executive team with the appointment of Karthik Narain as its new Chief Product and Business Officer. In this role, Narain will lead Google Cloud’s product and engineering teams, oversee developer tools, manage data and applied AI initiatives, and direct the go-to-market organization. The appointment comes at a critical time as Google Cloud continues to expand its presence in the rapidly evolving cloud computing market.
Narain brings a distinguished background in enterprise technology, having served as the Chief Technology Officer at Accenture for over a decade. At Accenture, he led the Cloud-First and Data and AI businesses and played a key role in driving cloud and AI modernization for more than 4,000 companies across diverse sectors. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Bharathidasan University and is widely recognized for his expertise in integrating technology strategy with business transformation.
