Hungama OTT rebrands and launches 24 new originals, expands to Smart TVs

Mumbai: Hungama OTT, a digital entertainment platforms, unveiled a bold new direction at an exclusive success party held on 5th May 2025 at Luuma House, Juhu. Formerly known simply as Hungama, the platform celebrated its dynamic rebranding to ‘Hungama OTT’, the launch of a smart TV-compatible app, and the announcement of an ambitious 24-show content slate.

The event was attended by prominent figures from the entertainment industry including Monalisa, Amruta Khanvilkar, Divya Agarwal, Tina Dutta, Gulki Joshi, Yukti Kapoor, and Akanksha Puri, reflecting the platform’s growing influence and its deepening roots in original storytelling.

Hungama OTT has gained significant traction since its September 2024 showcase, with titles like Flight Attendant, Checkmate, Personal Trainer, Red Room, Pyramid, Pati Patni aur Padosan, Hasratein 2, and Khadaan becoming fan favourites and achieving critical acclaim. Building on this success, the 2025 slate introduces a rich and diverse lineup of originals including Mona ki Monohar Kahaniyaan, Judwa Jaal, Rose Garden, Chakravyuh, Badass Begum, Blind Game, Balance Show, Hungama Hone Do, Shaadi Ki Uss Raat, Takshika, Girl Scams, Room Service, Bollywood Murder, Hasratein Season 3, and Ratri Ke Yatri Season 3.

The content slate spans a wide spectrum of genres—thrillers, drama, romance, and experimental formats—underscoring Hungama OTT’s commitment to fresh, compelling storytelling. The launch of its smart TV-compatible app brings this content to a larger screen and more immersive format, making it easier for audiences to enjoy their favourite shows across devices.
