Mumbai: ICICI Lombard has acquired the branding rights for the Siddhivinayak Metro Station on Mumbai’s upcoming Metro Line 3 (Aqua Line). Strategically located in Prabhadevi, adjacent to the iconic Shri Siddhivinayak Temple, the station will now be officially known as ICICI Lombard Siddhivinayak Metro Station.
This milestone marks a unique blend of spirituality, technology, and wellness at one of Mumbai’s most high-traffic urban transit points. The initiative reinforces ICICI Lombard’s commitment to embedding its brand deeply into the everyday journeys of citizens, while offering them innovative solutions that promote security, wellness, and peace of mind.
A standout feature of the branding initiative is India’s first-ever 3D anamorphic screen at a metro station. This immersive visual installation offers a compelling storytelling experience and enriches the commuter environment through cutting-edge technology.
Further enhancing the station’s offering is a dedicated Health and Wellness Booth that allows commuters to measure vital health statistics such as BMI, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and stress levels — using ICICI Lombard’s IL TakeCare app and its FaceScan feature. This forward-thinking initiative highlights the company’s emphasis on preventive healthcare and its vision to integrate smart health solutions into everyday infrastructure.
From expansive hoardings at station entry and exit points to branded platform screen doors and digital installations, the station features 360-degree ICICI Lombard branding. The visual presence spans LED displays, backlit panels, and concourse-level signage, ensuring sustained visibility and deep emotional connection with the millions of riders expected to use the Aqua Line daily.

Speaking on the association, Sheena Kapoor, Head – Marketing, Corporate Communications and CSR, ICICI Lombard, said, “Metro stations have evolved from mere transit points into dynamic spaces that tell stories and shape experiences. At ICICI Lombard, acquiring the naming rights for Siddhivinayak Metro Station—an iconic landmark and a bustling commuter hub located right opposite our Head Office—is more than just a branding milestone; it’s a moment of pride and a powerful step toward building a deeper, lasting connection with people.”
“This initiative has significantly amplified our brand salience, with visibility among lakhs of daily commuters across the entire Aqua Line—where the station is now announced as ‘ICICI Lombard Siddhivinayak Metro Station’. We are especially proud to be associated with a temple that holds immense spiritual significance and draws devotees from across the country, reinforcing our commitment to community and culture.”
“Through this, we’re not just celebrating a brand presence—we’re enabling worry-free journeys and embedding ourselves in the everyday life of Mumbai. After all, great marketing isn’t just about visibility—it’s about touching lives and creating impact where it matters most.”
As the Mumbai Metro Line 3 begins operations, it is expected to significantly decongest the Western Express Highway and improve intercity mobility across residential and commercial districts.
