Chennai : JFW, South India’s leading women’s magazine, is all set to host the 7th edition of its Women Achievers’ Awards for the year 2014 on October 31, 2014 at Sir Mutha Venkata Subbarao Hall in Chennai.
The magazine’s ideology is one that celebrates womanhood in all its glory and every year, this much-awaited event strives to honour and laud women who have excelled and made a mark in their chosen fields and careers.
This year, the distinguished awardees will include PV Sindhu, Shruti Haasan, Saranya Ponvannan, Sowcar Janaki, Lakshmi Menon, Priyadarsini Govind, Manju Latha Kalanidhi, Dr. Mariazeena Johnson and Sania Mirza, who will be receiving the JFW award for the second year in a row.
The event will witness power-packed dance performances by Bindu Madhavi, Nanditha, Sanchita Shetty and Poorna and a musical tribute by Ranjit, Alaap, Rahul Nambiar and band. The event will televised and later be telecast on Sun TV.
JFW magazine began its journey in 2007 and hosted its first awards in 2008 as an ode to every woman, to extol her simplicity, steadfastness and her ability to multitask and make a change. This year, the 7th JFW Women Achievers Awards is going to be one Big Bang that will be inspiring, stimulating and awakening.
