Karan Johar managed to pull a prank on everyone by announcing that his popular talk show ‘Koffee with Karan’ which had completed 6 seasons would not be returning. Later he revealed the twist in the tale that the show will not be returning on TV instead will stream on OTT platform, Disney+ Hotstar. This tactic was just a marketing stunt to garner the attention of the public.
His second post on social media read, “Koffee with Karan will not be returning… on TV! Because every great story needs a good twist. I’m delighted to announce that Season 7 of Koffee with Karan will stream exclusively on Disney+Hotstar!.
The biggest movie stars from across India will return to the couch to spill the beans while drinking some Koffee. There will be games, there will be rumours put to rest – and there will be conversations that go deep, about love, loss and everything we’ve all been through over the last few years.”

The forthcoming season might feature some big Tollywood celebrities, Allu Arjun, Samantha, Rashmika Mandanna, Jr NTR, Ram Charan etc. with south cinema delivering record-breaking box office collections. It is heard that Season 7 has been designed to attract the South Indian audience as well.
