Facebook Chatbot to promote Akshay Kumar starrer Toilet: Ek Prem Katha

Mumbai: Ahead of the highly anticipated release of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, the makers wanted to launch the trailer and promote the movie in an interesting way to excite Akshay Kumar’s Fans.

Social & Digital Agency KRDS India was roped in to develop an interactive Chatbot to promote the movie. KRDS India built an interactive Chatbot on the Facebook Page of the actor that allowed him to personally share the trailer of the movie to those fans who subscribed.

The Chatbot was launched on Akshay Kumar’s Official Facebook page and the fans were greeted with an audio note from the actor himself that asked them to subscribe to the Chatbot.  The fans also got a special autographed poster of the movie from the star.

The fans who subscribed got the link to the trailer ahead of the actual launch. The star will continue to engage with his fans with news and updates from the movie on his facebook page and the movie’s official page.

More than a lakh fans accessed the BOT and over 90,000 of them got the trailer personally from Akshay Kumar.
