NOIDA: Consumer brands company Leads Brand Connect has appointed food industry veteran Puneet Chhabra as Business Head for Amazonika Mundi India, strengthening its leadership team as it expands the Brazilian plant-based food brand’s footprint in the Indian market.
In his new role, Chhabra will lead Amazonika Mundi India’s overall business operations and revenue growth strategy while spearheading Sales and Marketing Communications across HoReCa, Food Service, B2B, Modern Trade, and Online channels. He will also oversee product innovation initiatives spanning Ready-to-Cook, Ready-to-Eat, and Ready-to-Drink categories.
Leads Brand Connect currently holds the exclusive sales, marketing, and distribution rights for Amazonika Mundi India, a leading Brazilian 100% plant-based food brand.
Chhabra brings nearly three decades of experience across India’s food and beverage industry, having built national brands and expanded distribution networks across multiple markets. His experience spans institutional, retail, and digital ecosystems, with expertise in business strategy, commercial leadership, and channel development.

Over the course of his career, Chhabra has held leadership positions at companies including Kohinoor Foods Ltd, Amira G Foods with India, UK and EU exposure, Miraya International, AAA Foods, Borges India and Lavazza (Fresh & Honest Café Ltd.). He has also worked closely with leading hospitality and food service brands including Taj, ITC, Oberoi, Marriott, Accor, IHG, Jubilant FoodWorks and Impresario, alongside modern retail players such as Walmart India, Reliance Mart and Spencer’s.
A graduate of the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition, Gwalior, Chhabra has built expertise across team building, market expansion and B2B/OEM partnerships.
