Metro Brands partners with New Era Cap

The partnership is another move to strengthen Metro Brands’ presence in the athleisure industry

Metro Brands partners with New Era Cap

National: New Era Cap, the New York brand reshaping sports fashion headwear, revealed a long-term licensing deal with Metro Brands Limited (MBL), a major footwear and accessories retailer in India. This partnership aims to grow New Era’s presence in the Indian market and boost MBL’s reach in athleisure retail.

MBL exclusively distributes and sells New Era products like headwear, apparel, and accessories in retail stores, kiosks, and online via their websites and marketplaces. New Era will also be available in future Foot Locker stores in India.

New Era symbolizes authenticity and individuality, attracting various people from sports fans to fashion-forward individuals. It is famous as the official on-field cap for Major League Baseball and the National Football League. The signature headwear styles include the 59FIFTY, fitted cap, 9FIFTY snapback, and adjustable 9FORTY.

Metro Brands Ltd plans to integrate sports culture into the cap industry with New Era to strategically expand and thrive in the Indian headwear market through e-commerce.

We are confident that, through this collaboration, caps are going to be the next statement accessory to watch out for.”

Metro Brands Ltd, with 800+ stores in India, plans to launch the first Foot Locker store. It’s home to various brands, such as Metro Shoes, Mochi, Crocs, FitFlop, Fila, both Indian and international favorites.
