Bengaluru: The Big Bang Awards 2025 celebrated the year’s most impactful advertising and marketing work, with Mindshare India, Be Positive 24 Innovation Design Pvt. Ltd., Wavemaker India and Hindustan Unilever emerging as the biggest winners of the night.

Mindshare India led the honours, winning the prestigious Ayaz Peerbhoy Trophy for Best Creative Campaign of the Year for its work on Dove, along with the titles of Creative Agency of the Year and Digital Agency of the Year. Be Positive 24 Innovation Design Pvt. Ltd. secured a double win, being named Design Agency of the Year and Healthcare Agency of the Year, while Wavemaker India was awarded Media Agency of the Year. Hindustan Unilever was recognised as Client of the Year.

The 2025 edition saw strong participation, with 683 entries submitted by 53 agencies and 172 clients across 16 cities and eight states. In total, the jury awarded 222 trophies, comprising 61 Gold, 84 Silver and 76 Bronze, underscoring the growing scale and competitiveness of the awards.

Beyond the trophies

While the winners remained the focal point, Big Bang Awards 2025 also marked a significant shift in format. For the first time in its four-decade history, the awards property expanded into a full-day creative festival, drawing over 500 attendees from agencies, brands, media platforms, technology companies and the wider creative community across South India and beyond.

The day featured interactive formats such as the Big Bang Bounty Quiz and the ‘Slay the Moment’ Photography Contest, followed by AI-focused sessions with companies spotlighting AI’s growing role in creativity, efficiency and business growth.

Hands-on workshops, live performances, the BangOn Music Fest and a Founders Circle Fireside Chat on AI and business transformation added cultural and experiential depth to the event, before the awards ceremony concluded the celebrations late into the night.

Reflecting on the evolution of the platform, Laeeq Ali, President of Advertising Club Bangalore, said the expanded format was designed to mirror the way creativity, technology, business and culture increasingly intersect in today’s advertising ecosystem.

With record participation, a broadened vision and strong industry backing, Big Bang Awards 2025 has reinforced its position as South India’s most significant advertising and marketing platform—both on and off the awards stage.

Founders Circle: Where AI Meets Business Growth

One of the most compelling conversations of the day unfolded at the Founders Circle Fireside Chat, which examined how artificial intelligence is reshaping scale, strategy and business transformation. The session featured Hemant Arora, Bijou Kurien, Aisshwarya DKS Hegde, Ashutosh Sharma, Ashish Thukral and Ebenezer Vidyasagar, with the discussion moderated by Darlington Hector. Moving beyond experimentation, the panel focused on real-world applications of AI, highlighting how organisations are translating technology-led innovation into measurable business impact.

Strong partner ecosystem powers Big Bang 2025

The scale and ambition of Big Bang Awards 2025 were supported by robust industry partnerships. The event was backed by Gold Sponsors Sony Pictures Networks India, Snapchat, Times Network and Truecaller, with Mob Avenue as Silver Sponsor. Deccan Herald came on board as Print Partner, Veeville as Creative Partner, and Whipsmartco and PurpleHorn as Digital Partners. Awardor Inc served as Digital Platform Partner, DNA Networks as Event Partner, while beverage support came from Big Banyan, Paul John, United Breweries, Coca-Cola and Nirvana, collectively elevating the overall festival experience.
