Moneycontrol celebrates 10 crore monthly users in new ad campaign

New Delhi: Moneycontrol has unveiled a new ad campaign to celebrate its record-breaking achievement of 10 crore (100 million) monthly users, reinforcing its dominance as India’s largest financial platform. A front-page advertisement across all editions of The Economic Times highlights this milestone, marking October 2024 as a landmark month for the platform.

According to Google Analytics, Moneycontrol reached 10 crore users in October 2024, underlining its position as the go-to destination for financial information. The ad also proudly showcases the 10 lakh paying subscribers of Moneycontrol Pro, the platform’s exclusive paid service.

Additionally, Moneycontrol’s ad emphasizes its audience size, which is 30% larger than its closest competitor, as per Comscore MMX Multi-Platform data from September 2024 in the Business/Finance News category. The platform also boasts an impressive 70 lakh monthly active users on its app.

The ad highlights Moneycontrol’s unique combination of comprehensive market data, advanced financial tools, exclusive stock research, and in-depth business news, making it a compelling resource for users. This combination has helped Moneycontrol build an irresistible proposition for both users and advertisers alike.

In its bid to expand its presence in the fintech space, Moneycontrol has broadened its offerings to include personal loans, fixed deposits, bank account management tools, and credit scores. This expansion has solidified Moneycontrol’s role as a comprehensive financial ecosystem.

In terms of user engagement, Moneycontrol continues to outperform its competitors. In September 2024, its page views were nearly 40% higher than the next closest platform, according to Comscore. Moreover, the platform recorded the highest time spent in the sector, with users clocking in over 407.48 million minutes on the platform during the month, reflecting their deeper engagement with the content.

Moneycontrol has also emerged as the leader in breaking important business stories, cementing its status as the preferred choice for corporate leaders, startups, and stock market professionals in India.

This ad campaign not only celebrates Moneycontrol’s user base and subscriber growth but also highlights its continuing efforts to shape the future of financial content and services in India.
