Nachiket Pantvaidya moves on from Balaji Telefilms as Group CEO within a year of joining the company. This was his second stint with the company post his previous exit in May 2021. His last working day will be 31st May according to company’s statement in a regulatory filing.
In a filing to the BSE, the company said, “Pursuant to Regulation 30 of Listing Regulations, we would like to inform you that the Board of Directors at their Meeting held today i.e. May 20, 2022, through Video Conferencing / Other Audio-Visual Means have taken on record, the resignation of Mr. Nachiket Pantvaidya, Group Chief Executive Officer of the Company, effective from the closing of business hours on May 31, 2022.”
Prior to this he was with Asianet News Media & Entertainment as Managing Director. Before joining Asianet he was the Group COO of Balaji Telefilms and CEO at ALTBalaji.
An alumnus from IIM- Ahmedabad and over 20 years of rich experience in media industry, he was associated with some esteemed organisations namely, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Star TV Network, Fox Corporation, Disney and BBC.
