Mumbai: In a strategic move aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, the Nemetschek Group has officially launched its operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The expansion highlights the Group’s commitment to supporting the Kingdom’s rapid development, digitalization, and sustainability goals.
The launch brings Nemetschek’s robust portfolio of globally recognized brands – including Allplan, Bluebeam, Graphisoft, Maxon, Solibri, Spacewell, and Vectorworks – closer to one of the fastest-growing construction markets in the world. With over $1 trillion in mega-projects currently underway, the Saudi construction industry is witnessing a historic boom, driven by digital innovation and a nationwide focus on sustainable infrastructure.
The Nemetschek Group’s cutting-edge solutions in Building Information Modeling (BIM), AI, and digital twin technology will enable local architects, engineers, and creatives to execute complex projects with greater efficiency, precision, and environmental consciousness.
To lead the company’s initiatives in the region, Muayad Simbawa has been appointed Managing Director for Saudi Arabia. Based in Riyadh, he brings nearly two decades of experience in digital transformation, enterprise software, and infrastructure. Known for successfully launching market operations and building high-performing teams, Simbawa’s leadership is expected to significantly contribute to the modernization of the AEC/O industry across the Middle East.
“Saudi Arabia is leading the way in global construction innovation, with ambitious developments and a strong commitment to digital transformation. By establishing our presence in the Kingdom under the leadership of Muayad Simbawa, we are dedicated to equipping professionals across the region with the technologies and support they need to build a more efficient, sustainable, and connected future,” said Yves Padrines, CEO of the Nemetschek Group.
“We are excited to bring Nemetschek’s world-class solutions to Saudi Arabia, supporting Vision 2030 and the Kingdom’s drive towards digitalization and sustainability. Our goal is to collaborate with local partners and customers to unlock new levels of efficiency and innovation across the construction and media sectors,” added Muayad Simbawa, Managing Director, Nemetschek Saudi Arabia.
The Group’s first major appearance in the Kingdom will be at the Saudi Giga Projects 2025 Summit in Riyadh, an influential gathering of top-tier stakeholders in the region’s construction industry. The summit will provide Nemetschek with a valuable platform to showcase its solutions and engage with decision-makers shaping the Kingdom’s urban future.
Additionally, Nemetschek will participate in the Saudi Entertainment and Amusement (SEA) Expo from May 20–22, 2025, with its brands Maxon, Spacewell, and Vectorworks. The SEA Expo serves as a global hub for the entertainment sector, offering collaboration opportunities that align with Nemetschek’s mission to deliver real-world innovation through creative and digital solutions.
With this expansion, the Nemetschek Group reinforces its broader vision for the Middle East – to be a driving force for digital transformation and sustainability, while supporting the region’s aspirations to develop smart cities, future-ready infrastructure, and a creative economy equipped for the demands of tomorrow.
