Trivandrum : Malayalam Satellite channels in Kerala Market are queuing up in Gulf to reach out to for the Malayalee population in Gulf countries that could help them to monetize their native content in an effective manner.
On 12th February Malayalam Communications’ Kairali TV launched its Gulf channel ‘Kairali Arabia” and now it seems Madyamam Group is also following the suit to launch its channel in Gulf by this April.
The Calicut based Madyamam Group that runs its Publications with Madhyamam daily has launched its Infotainment channel MediaOne on 10th February 2013. Now the owners of MediaOne news channel had announced the launch of their Second channel named ”Media one Gulf”. It will be launched on 25th April 2015 and its dedicated for the gulf viewers.
This is the third Malayalam channel for gulf region. Asianet middle east was the first channel launched for gulf and Kairali Arabia is the second one which was launched recently on a Grand on a Mega event in Dubai in the presence of leading artists from Mollywood fraternity.
The test signal for ”Mediaone gulf” will be started very soon. Latest information from the channel sources confirm that they will use the satellite intelsat 17. which is being used by majority of the Malayalam channels including the new entrant Kairali Arabia.
