Bengaluru: New Relic, the Intelligent Observability Company, has announced the launch of New Relic for Startups, a new programme designed to help early-stage AI companies build, launch and scale with enterprise-grade observability capabilities and direct engineering support.
Targeted at startups up to Series A stage, the programme combines free access to New Relic’s observability platform and AI capabilities with hands-on technical guidance to help fast-growing businesses maintain performance, reliability and operational visibility as they scale.
As startups increasingly develop applications using large language models (LLMs), AI agents and AI-generated code, speed of deployment has accelerated across technology stacks. However, growing complexity has also introduced new operational challenges and reliability concerns.
According to New Relic’s 2026 State of AI Coding report, while 94% of leaders believe AI-generated code demonstrates higher quality at the review stage compared with human-authored code, 78% reported an increase in incidents after deployment.
New Relic said the programme aims to address these risks by equipping lean startup teams with observability infrastructure traditionally available to larger enterprises.
The initiative combines technology enablement with dedicated support mechanisms including:
- Free observability platform access with support for five users and monthly data ingest allowances
- Access to New Relic’s AI capabilities including AI monitoring, SRE Agent and AI toolsets
- Dedicated launch-day engineering support for production deployments
- Quarterly architecture reviews with principal engineers
- Ongoing office hours with Forward Deployed Engineers
- Peer-led troubleshooting and learning sessions for startup founders

Commenting on the launch, Jemiah Sius, Vice President of Market Strategy and Developer Relations at New Relic, said, “Scaling at the speed of AI means shipping faster than ever, but you can’t scale what you can’t see. Growth requires absolute clarity into how your stack performs when the pressure is on. We’re not just handing out credits. We’re bringing our technology and forward-deployed engineers together to give founders the observability foundation they need to launch confidently and scale without limits.”
New Relic stated that the programme is structured to support startups beyond initial onboarding by providing architecture guidance, operational best practices and access to a broader founder ecosystem designed to reduce technical debt and support sustainable growth.

Sharing perspective on the initiative, Sir Charles Hill, Chief Operating Officer of UseBump, said, “Scaling our product means our infrastructure has to perform flawlessly when it matters most—even without a massive SRE team behind us. Joining the New Relic for Startups program will give us the enterprise-grade visibility and expert guidance we need to stay reliable as we scale. We don’t just view New Relic as a vendor, but as a long-term partner in our growth.”
Eligible startups can apply to participate in the programme through New Relic’s dedicated application process.
The launch reflects New Relic’s broader focus on enabling the next generation of AI-native businesses through observability, operational intelligence and engineering-led customer partnerships.
