Mumbai: PNB Housing Finance Limited has announced the appointment of Ajai Kumar Shukla as its Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, effective December 18, 2025, for a tenure of five years. The appointment has been approved by the Board of Directors, based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, and is subject to receipt of requisite regulatory approvals.
Shukla brings over three decades of experience in housing and mortgage lending to his new role. He joins PNB Housing Finance from Tata Capital Housing Finance Limited, where he spent 16 years in senior leadership positions. During his career, he has led several critical functions, including business growth, credit, risk management, valuation, digital transformation, and affordable housing finance. Prior to Tata Capital, Mr. Shukla was associated with ICICI Bank and LIC Housing Finance Limited.

Mr. Shukla holds a postgraduate degree in Finance from CSJM University, Kanpur, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Kanpur University.
